Client profile & assessment method
Client Profile & Assessment Method
After the questionnaire we build a preliminary profile of your IT estate and use it to recommend a service, an infrastructure model and an indicative price range. This page explains what that profile means — and what it does not claim.
A profile, not just company size
We classify your estate on three independent dimensions: size, criticality and recovery. The profile is written as three letters, for example "S / C2 / R2". These are preliminary targets, not contractual commitments.
Size: S / M / L
Size reflects the scale of your IT estate, not only the number of employees. We consider servers and virtual machines, locations, the systems you run, integrations, remote access and how you administer the environment. Size on its own does not decide the recommendation: a small but business-critical estate can still be offered a higher service model.
- • S — small estate
- • M — medium estate
- • L — large estate
Criticality: C1 / C2 / C3
Criticality reflects how much your operation depends on the systems and how disruptive an interruption or compromise would be.
- • C1 — standard business dependency
- • C2 — important / business-critical
- • C3 — high criticality, where interruption or compromise has major operational or business impact
Recovery: R1 / R2 / R3 / R4
Recovery reflects the target recovery capability for your estate. These are preliminary classification targets used to shape architecture and service level — exact RTO/RPO values are validated during Deep Assessment.
- • R1 Basic — recovery roughly within 24–48 hours
- • R2 Business — recovery roughly within 4–8 hours
- • R3 Critical — high availability, recovery around one hour where appropriate
- • R4 Mission Critical — automated or highly automated failover/DR and very low tolerated loss
A small estate can still be critical
A small estate may be classified "S / C3 / R3" when its one or two systems must not stop and recovery needs to be fast. The profile reflects the operation, not a simple headcount.
Preliminary by design
The free questionnaire builds a preliminary profile from what you tell us. It is not a technical audit. During Deep Assessment we validate the environment in detail, and the profile, service model and price range may change as a result. Because of this, we show indicative price ranges rather than exact quotes.
Not a certification
The profile is a working classification for assessment and planning. It is not a certification, a compliance score, or a guarantee about your security or recovery. Detailed control and standards analysis belongs to Deep Assessment.
- • We do not publish the internal scoring weights behind the profile.
- • The profile is self-reported until validated.
- • Named infrastructure providers are never part of a public recommendation.
Separate prices: management and infrastructure
We always show the SETORD management service and the infrastructure separately, because they are different commercial items.
- • SETORD management: an indicative monthly range based on the estate and its criticality/recovery profile.
- • Infrastructure: a separate line, estimated by architecture class and required capacity.
- • For infrastructure you already run on-premises or with an existing provider, we state that fact instead of inventing a hosting cost.
